Mom Photographing Flowers
This is an ongoing project that I began in February of 2019. I want to document my mother's obsession with botany, and with photographing flowers. It's a privilege I am grateful for, to get to spend this much time together. In a way, she becomes the changing flower that I obsessively photograph.
I had thought a few times to use these as references for painting, and I love them too much as a collection of not-yet edited photographs, to change the way I look at them like that.
